Urban Choice Charter School
 Founded by a group of Rochester citizens who are committed to redefining urban education and are confident that the vast majority of Rochester public school students can achieve academic standards comparable to their suburban peers.
Urban Choice Charter School is not part of a management group, financial or business organization. The school does not have any formal partners that provide financial support.
The school relies solely on the per-pupil funding it receives, and a small amount of donations. Together these equal (only) approximately 2/3 of the amount students in the Rochester City School District receives.
The Alliance for Lupus Research (ALR)
 The Alliance for Lupus Research (ALR) is a national voluntary health organization based in New York City that was founded in 1999 and is chaired by Robert Wood Johnson IV, a member of the founding family of Johnson & Johnson. By committing millions of dollars to significant lupus research every year and holding nationwide lupus walks to secure additional funding, the ALR is proactively battling lupus.
Their mission is to find better treatments and ultimately prevent and cure systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE, or lupus), a debilitating autoimmune disease, and their strategy is select and support the most promising research projects that they believe will treat, cure and help prevent lupus from among scientists at the most prestigious universities, medical schools, and hospitals throughout the world.
