Donna Ferrara is a Benefits Consultant at American Portfolios. She has over 20 years of experience in the industry with health, life and disability coverages, as well as knowledge of property and casualty insurance. Donna is a licensed Life, Accident and Health insurance agent in New York State, and in 2011earned her Group Benefits Disability Specialist professional designation from the National Underwriter Company (NUCO). 

Donna excels in building a comprehensive benefit package for employers to attract and retain valuable employees. With the ever changing rules to healthcare, Donna works with employer Groups to help navigate new federal mandates. She also assists to implement the employer’s health, dental, disability, group life, individual life, employee compensation and wellness initiatives.

Donna knows the right questions to ask to fully understand her clients' needs, and works to ensure any changes in plans are truly in the Group’s best interest.
